Refund Policy

Refunds are not available for Online Courses once paid by Pay Pal.

Refunds are only available for Face to Face Courses prior to the commencement of the course.

Course payments/fees are valid for a period of 12 months after initial payment is made.

Once a student have started the course and should you be called away or unable to finish on the day, we can offer you another suitable course date on mutual agreement between Boat Jetski Licence management and yourself. (no refunds apply in this situation).

If course fees are pre-paid and you can't attend the course on the day you have originally nominated you must notify Boat Jetski Licence booking office at least 24 hours prior to the course commencement time.   The course may then defer to a future date mutually agreed between Boat Jetski Licence management and yourself (no refunds apply in this situation).

If course fees are pre-paid and you do not attend the course on the day and fail to notify   within 24 hours of the course commencement, your course fees will be forfeited (no refunds apply in this situation).

Medical or other extenuating circumstances shall be treated on a case-by-case basis.  Where a student can provide a medical certificate or show extreme personal hardship, a different refund may be authorised on a basis determined by the owners.

It needs to be understood that course fees purchase for a prospective student, a place on a course.  The student does not purchase an unconditional guarantee of training.  The commercial imperative here is that once a course has been filled and is committed to run, all fees collected have also been committed to the provision of that service.  The withdrawal of a student from a course does not significantly reduce the costs of conducting that course even though it will be for one fewer student.  Hence the commercial imperative to bring to a halt further refund benefits at the date of course commencement.
